I want to ask that my phone (Xperia S) whether can download and install normally?
You can try installing like normall app or pushing in system/app.
But do make backup of semcalbum.apk and semcmusic.apk of your xperia s.
Album app is laggy in my xperia z.. Bravia Engine seems loading late when I open a image.. Any solution??
yes BE2 loads a bit slowly…as we mentioned in the post…give it a little bit time to settle down…Album is not laggy for us.
The Walkman app i installed on XS, after rebooting going to apps but not getting option to clear data,,,,,,
is walkman app not functional on XS ? Try re-installing it again and then check…just install like normal apk.

No we have not got the movies app update yet…if possible can you please ask her to upload the apk file of that movies app and send some screenshots.
How do I extract and upload the apk?
Download “bluetooth app sender” from google play store and after downloading the app, install it and run it in normal mode . Now scroll down and send movies app either via bluetooth to your pc or upload anywhere there you will see many options..

Works only on 4.2.2 it seems you are on 4.1.2

Apps and Devices” option is in Movies app now…use video unlimited option with it…

sir even in the previous update.. the “Apps and Devices” option is already in Movies app, just wonderin’ it is now gone when i applied this new update (well even though its really not important).. sorry for many questions.. i manually update even the album & walkman, just because i cant wait for the sony’s official update release.. one last question, if i “uninstall update” the three apps would it be back into previous versions again? and if yes, can i still receive the sony’s official update for this apps in the pc companion or sus? thanks a lot…
yes they will be back to its previous versions…official updates for these apps will be available via OTA only.
what do we mean by OTA? hehe sorry kinda noob on this matters…
Open the Air update, as for these updates you will get notification in your phones’s update center app only.

New update is almost 750 MB in size via PCC.
Walkman app not installing because these are meant for android 4.2.2 framework.
No way…obviously you need to flash the file for which you need root.

yes camera issue fixed now, wi-fi issue fixed, touch more responsive now.
Now i haven’t come across any case which don’t hide back LED strip, there are for XS but not for XSP…if i find any will let you know 🙂
