Android 4.4 KitKat marked its presence with Google Nexus 5 and soon on Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 7 Tablet but what actually is missing from Android 4.4 KitKat build from Nexus 5 is that playing flash videos is totally incompatible, checked with browsers like Dolphin, Firefox and Google Chrome.
All credits to XDA user “surviveland”, he has found a way to play flash videos on Android 4.4 KitKat on Nexus 5, as per him some API’s have been removed from Android 4.4 KitKat build which were used as to play flash content. Follow the guide below to play Flash Videos on Android 4.4 KitKat on Nexus 5.
Below mentioned guide is confirmed working for Dolphin browser on Google Nexus 5 , for rest you try and let us know.
First of all download below mentioned apps from Google Play.
- Download Dolphin Browser and Dolphin Jetpack.
- Download hacked version of flash player from below link. Unintsall any flash player already installed on your device and then install fresh one from below.
Download Adobe Flash Player 11.1.apk | 4MB
To install apps from unknown sources, you need to go to settings > securities > unknown sources option, check it to install apps from location other than Google Play Store.
- Check in Dolphin browser that flash settings are on, navigate to menu > settings > web content > flash player.
It’s done you can play flash contents in Android 4.4 KitKat on Nexus 5 especially in Dolphin browser. As it is not officially supported so speed of loading may be a bit slow.
Above method is confirmed working on Google Nexus 4, Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 10 running Android 4.4 KitKat build. As per many users it is not working with FireFox browser. Let us know if you have tried it and it worked for you or not, drop you comments.

I did all things you guide, but flash video (.swf) is not working... stupid kit kat. While my jobs require swf file always
