Yes it seems Sony is planning to launch a Wi-Fi version of Xperia Z Ultra which they launched last year as the first phone to feature Snapdragon 800 processor and 6.4″ HD screen.

Xperia Z Ultra SGP412 Wi-Fi scored 35073 points on AnTuTu benchmark which is almost similar to what other Snapdragon 800 powered devices scored like Xperia Z Ultra LTE/HSPA+ version, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact ( Xperia Z1C ).

So what’s the benefit of owing Xperia Z Ultra SGP412 Wi-Fi version instead of getting a regular Xperia Z Ultra with call facility ? It’s a very complicated decision from Sony to bring out such a device.

sgp is a tablet model Number prefix. if you brought the sony tablet before.
so is it possible ito say. this actually means sony will have a small size tablet rather than just call it z ultra wifi ?
The image of SGP412 leaked on FCC is exactly similar to Xperia Z Ultra design, 100% Similar. That proves the above fact.
