Sony came up with Xperia M2 at MWC 2014 event which is yet another Sony’s mid range smartphone besides Xperia T2 Ultra / Dual for year 2014. Xperia M2 features 4.8″ qHD Display, Snapdragon 400 SoC 1.2 GHz quad core processor ( MSM8926 / MSM8226 ) with Adreno 305 GPU. Xperia M2 weighs 148 grams and 8.6mm thick and has a pretty good build design.
Xperia M2 packs 8 MP rear cam, HD video recording, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and external SD card support up to 32 GB. It is LTE enabled and has 2300 mAh battery. Let’s see what Xperia M2 holds with some Xperia M2 hands on photos and a preliminary review.

Sony has launched Xperia M2 in both single and dual SIM variant. Below you can see Xperia M2 single SIM variant ( Purple ) and Dual SIM variant ( Black and White ).

Left profile of Xperia M2 has Sony signature power button, Micro SIM Card slot, external camera shutter key and volume rocker keys. It follows the Sony’s signature Omni-Balance Design.
3.5 mm headphone jack at top.
Right profile of Xperia M2 has Micro SD card and USB port.
At bottom you can spot external speaker grill and strap hole at corner.
At back there is 8MP rear camera and LED light at center of panel and NFC, Sony and Xperia logo.
We saw Xperia M2 getting a price tag of €279 from Amazon in Germany, we hope soon Sony will soon list Xperia M2 on its online stores in Europe and other regions across the world.
