If you remember Sony introduced a new app “What’s new” in Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet which was launched at MWC 2014 event. Sony What’s New app is only exclusive for Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet so far and is not available on any other Xperia device even on Android 4.4.2 kitKat update. For all users who are willing to have Sony What’s New app on their Xperia handset, here comes the latest version of the app.
XDA user Ben Ling has ported Sony What’s New 1.1.A.0.1 app version from latest Xperia Z2 firmware for all rooted Xperia handsets running android 4.1.2+ version. Download Sony What’s New 1.1.A.0.1 app apk from below mentioned link and install it like a normal apk, not compatible with unrooted Xperia devices. It works great on Xperia Z1, Z, ZL, ZR, Z Ultra.
