Sony has updated its media Walkman app to newer version 8.4.A.4.4 from older 8.4.A.3.1 version. Walkman 8.4.A.4.4 update now lets users see which music is currently playing from Walkman home section itself. Sony also updated its three other media apps as follow Album 6.3.A.0.12 app, Movie Creator 2.1.A.0.4 app and Movies 7.3.A.0.2 app.
Walkman 8.4.A.4.4 update size is 11.8 MB and brings other as usual big fixes and performance enhancement. It is confirmed on Android 4.2+ running Xperia devices.

Before last two updates walkman used to be awesome but increasing the bass unnecessarily in the last update and keeping it the same in dis one was a terrible idea(in earphones)…it was my favourite app now it only disappoints, the increased bass really sucks
i updated my t2ultra to ths latest update.right from te second day of my updating the song plays but sound stops suddenly…..wat can i do
Fucking hate this update! Newly added songs on the main screen don’t play one after the other, it just plays the one song. You can’t fast scroll down the edge in the songs list anymore. Oh and really stupidly, you can’t edit artist names if it starts with The. For example, the band is called Red Hot Chilli Peppers, there is no ‘THE’ at the start. Yet for some reason, the Walkman player, despite the fact I delete the word ‘The’ from the beginning of the artist, keep putting it back when I hit save. Fucking useless. It worked flawlessly before, now with this stupid arse update it’s a broken mess with less functionality and ease of use.
