A new 23.0.1.A.3.12 firmware has been certified for Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet today at PTCRB over previous 23.0.1.A.3.9 firmware which was released for carrier handsets only and 23.0.1.A.0.167 firmware which brought android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Xperia Z2 series.
It can’t be said at the moment whether 23.0.1.A.3.12 firmware will be released for carrier handsets or global variants of Xperia Z2. Sony though rolled android 4.4.4 KitKat very late for Xperia Z2 which brought Xperia Z3 alike UI but some serious bugs are now present on Xperia Z2 like low battery issue, heating issue etc.

Low sound for notifications,sometimes no sound for texts.Video sounds sometimes too low and needed to restart my Z2 phone.Walkman stopped playing.
I had a very annoying issue with touchscreen not responding sometimes
since 4.4.2 (.314) then 4.4.4 (.167)
I it didnt still solved my problem
So i got to root my device which makes it better,but not completely!
I hope this new update solves the hole thing
