Google has officially announced Android 5.1 Lollipop update and now it is getting rolled on Nexus devices (factory images available already). Google has brought some new features support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and high definition (HD) voice on compatible phones.
Sony hasn’t rolled Android 5.0 Lollipop update yet so the question of rolling Android 5.1 is very far from the sight for the time being, though Sony made a statement on Twitter that they are in final stage of testing Lollipop update.

Google has brought a new feature called “Device Protection” which protects your device in case it is stolen and will remain locked until the real user sign in with Google account and it will work even if the device is reset to factory settings.
