I am still having a hard time locating the previous release, in my case for the Z Ultra C6806 – It’s listed in multiple locations as 14.5.A.0.270 – yet I have no OTA available, and PC Companion states that I’m up to date (I am on 14.5.A.0.242) I can’t seem to get my hands on .270 OR .283, though I realize that .283 is just coming out, the 270 package has been out almost 4 weeks. Can somebody let me know where I can find it, or perhaps an ftf of either of these?

      Use the .270 firmware ftf from here – http://4upld.com/1yvof (C6833) and http://4upld.com/1yvou (C6802 )
      Ftfs by: Haminjuri

Unfortunately ftf for C6806 not available, if you want specifically for C6806 then follow these instructions.

Download XperiaFirm tool and use it to create a C6806 ftf ( tutorial here – https://www.gizmobolt.com/2015/04/08/how-to-download-lollipop-firmware-via-xperiafirm-tool/ )

Use Flashtool to flash the ftf then ( tutorial here – https://www.gizmobolt.com/2015/04/09/how-to-flash-xperia-z2z3-23-1-a-0-690-ftf-using-flashtool-manually/ )

      Regards,

I have the same problem as John
Any other working links to down Xfirm? Flashtool no problem.

Thanks Mate! That’s precisely the help I needed making this happen. I am new to Sony after years and years of flashing HTC and Samsung devices. None of it looks insurmountable, it’s just spending some time learning the Sony device methods. Your help was perfect for my situation. Thanks again!
