Sony’s recent flagship Xperia Z3+ was announced a few days back and it comes with a tagline slimmer, lighter, and faster. Well, truly Xperia Z3+ is just a rebranded version of Xperia Z4 and an upgraded version of Xperia Z3 in terms of specifications and design.
Xperia Z3+ features Snapdragon 810 64 bit Octa core processor (2 GHz) with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage (with micro SD card support). It features 20.7 MP camera 25mm wide-angle, 1 / 2.3 inch size sensor (ISO 12800). It features 5.1 MP front camera (25mm wide-angle). Xperia Z3+ weighs 144 grams and is 6.9mm thin with 5.2″ FHD Display (1920 x 1080 resolution, no 2K) packed in an aluminum frame with glass back. Xperia Z3+ features 2930 mAh battery (which is less as compared to Xperia Z3 & Xperia Z2). Xperia Z3+ comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box (5.0.2). Xperia Z3+ is IP65/68 certified (with capless USB port). In terms of design, Xperia Z3+ is a combination of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 but slimmer, lighter, and powerful.

The refreshed design is enough for me to make a switch, the rest of the changes comes as the extra bonus. No stupid magnet charging with ugly hole on the left side. Less holes in the body means more reliability and environment protection. More defined volume rocker to power button gap. Beautiful finish colors. I like the frontfacing speakers desicion, the screen glass might be tougher without holes in it. The slimmness is great, i like the Z3 for the slim body, nice feeling and Z3+ is even slimmer. Polished finish might make the grab better as the anodised aluminum sides are really slippery.
Sorry but sony. You failed on the z3. The magnetic charger was the hype for me until the port came loose on the phone. This leading, “not waterproof” anymore. Lollipop. I doubt it’s going to arrive in the USA. I will no longer but this shitty brand of a phone. I had high hopes on it until I was blamed for breaking my port because I decided to you a dedicated sony brand magnetic dock charger. Camera is great, but lacks focusing on high speeds. The phone over heats. Again, my fault because I love using my camera! Lastly, don’t believe in the battery bullshit and it can last long. I can drain this bitch in 4 to 5 hrs. It does not last 2 days. Go home sony. You’re drunk.
