Moto Z Play Droid edition is finally getting Android 7.0 Nougat update from Verizon Wireless. Verizon has officially made the announcement on the software page of Moto Z Play Droid. New Android 7.0 Nougat update software version is NDNS25.137-24-1-2.
New update brings “battery-smart features and multitasking enhancements” on Moto Z Play Droid Edition. Look for OTA update notification in your device to update.
Moto Z Play Droid Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Navigate to Settings > About Phone > System Update to update your device.
Android 7.0 Nougat NDNS25.137-24-1-2 update brings following features on Moto Z Play Droid Edition:
- Split-Screen Mode: Allowing usage of 2 apps on screen at the same time i.e. multi-window
- App Quick Switching: Double tap the Overview (Recent apps)
- Quick Settings Customization: Now edit/add/remove any quick settings from the panel
- Data Saver
- Improved Settings naviagtion
- Bundled notifications
