Xperia M2 Dual 18.3.B.0.31 firmware Android 4.4.2 KitKat Rolling

Sony rolled Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Xperia M2 Single SIM D2303 LTE and D2305 HSPA+ in form of 18.3.C.0.37  and 18.3.A.0.31 firmware respectively a few days back and now for Xperia M2 Dual Android 4.4.2 KitKat in form of 18.3.B.0.31 firmware is rolling officially.

18.3.B.0.31 firmware update is only available via PC Companion for the time being, No OTA spotted yet. 18.3.B.0.31 firmware is confirmed in India and other Asian regions.

Changelog

As a part of changelog new Xperia home launcher, new Xperia Themes, new Sony Media apps, new KitKat bootanimation is spotted. New KitKat quick settings options are available. Sony Social Camera app updated with new Portrait ReTouch camera app. App to SD card feature is also there.

Xperia M2 KitKat 18.3.C.0.37, 18.3.A.0.31, M2 Dual 18.3.B.0.31 firmware certified

Sony recently rolled android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual and promised KitKat for Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual will follow up soon. New Android 4.4.2 KitKat 18.3.C.0.37, 18.3.A.0.31 firmwares have been certified for Xperia M2 and 18.3.B.0.31 firmware for Xperia M2 Dual on PTCRB.

Android 4.4.2 build will hit Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual with hopefully app to SD card support as spotted in Xperia E1, E1 Dual, T2 Ultra and T2 Ultra Dual’s KitKat update.

Update roll out is expected soon and with this Sony will be done updating all Xperia 2014 handsets on KitKat version and then hopefully we will see KitKat update for Xperia SP and Xperia L ( any update for Xperia C is doubtful ).
