A new 23.1.A.0.726 firmware is now rolling for Xperia Z2 in selected regions over the present 23.1.A.0.690 firmware which was originally rolled as Android 5.0.2. 23.1.A.0.726 firmware was recently rolled on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact carrier handsets also.

23.1.A.0.726 firmware (Android 5.0.2) for Xperia Z2 is confirmed on D6503 in regions like Austria, Hong Kong, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA. Sony has pulled Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update from India region for the time being. D6502 has not got the update yet.

As per user’s report, 23.1.A.0.726 firmware is said to fix the issue of exchange accounts and notifications on lockscreen, X-Reality and Vivid Mode are now working on Xperia Z2.

[ Update ] It is now available on D6502 in India as well via PC Companion as well as via OTA (size is 14 Mb via OTA and via PC Companion 1.3 GB).
