Unexpectedly Xperia L was recently updated to android 4.2.2 15.3.A.0.26 firmware in October end and in December we saw once again 15.3.A.0.27 firmware appearing on PTCRB certification program which never rolled out till day yet. Just now another new 15.3.A.1.12 firmware build has been certified on PTCRB website.

15.3.A.1.12 build moves from 15.3.A.0.XX build which means a huge update is going to strike on Xperia L very soon. Though as per our us it seems still android 4.2.2 update as Sony has already mentioned the devices which will be getting android 4.3 so there is few chances that it will come as android 4.3.

Xperia L 15.3.A.1.12 Firmware certified on PTCRB

Sony is working hard now update it seems, whole Xperia Z series has been updated to android 4.3 recently and a few moments ago we spotted android 4.3 12.1.A.0.253  firmware being certified for Xperia SP on PTCRB website.

15.3.A.1.12 firmware should hit Xperia L users soon by the end of this year or hopefully in first week of Jan 2014. Till now it should be taken as android 4.2.2 update only, it is not expected that android 4.3 will roll on Xperia L in any case.
