Hexlock app is a 2-in-1 app which secures your apps as well as pics. Be it SMS, Contacts, Calls, Gallery, WhatsApp (or any other app), it lets you lock any app with its secure PIN and Password options, which can be used in 6 different profiles. Setting up App Lock
After downloading the app, once you open it for the first time, you have to set up a “PIN” or “PASSWORD” for locking various services. Let’s go ahead with choosing “PIN” for the time being. You can choose only 4 digit PIN (use your Google account in case you forget your PIN).
PIN has to be entered every time you use the Hexlock app after closing it.
Setting up Fingerprint Unlocking
Hexlock app now allows unlocking apps via setting up a fingerprint scanning. We tested this feature on our Nexus 6P and it works like charm.
Tap on enable fingerprint unlocking and it is done.

Setting up Photo Vault
To use the Media Vault Feature you need to allow Hexlock app to access your media and video files, once permission is given you can use this feature.
Add the various pics and videos in the media vault folder.

Hexlock app allows you to add 6 different Wi-Fi profiles which allows you to have different apps unlocked in each profile which you can auto-switch.
6 Profiles available by default are: Party, Parental, Work, Home, Cafe and School. Names and icon can be edited by the user.
Check your notification screen to see the count of apps locked.

Sony launches Style portrait app on Play Store officially
Sony has officially launched Style portrait app on Play Store. Earlier we saw Sony launched Style portrait effects on Play Store but app was only limited to Xperia C4, Xperia M4 Aqua, etc but now it is available for all Xperia devices which have Sony Social Smart Camera app installed (Android 4.2+).

Sony Video app 9.3.A.0.2.beta version brings Playback History option
Sony Video app has got a new beta 9.3.A.0.2 version update today. Earlier today we saw Video app getting a stable release in the form of 9.2.A.1.6 version. Video app 9.3.A.0.2.beta version brings minor bugs fixing and a new history option is added in the menu section which will show a list of all recently played videos. Playback history can be deleted easily.
Sony introduced some new features in the Video app (first spotted in 9.2.A.0.6 version) like swipe down to shrink the video player with playback ongoing; swipe up to maximize it again and swipe left to dismiss the video. Video app 9.3.A.0.2.beta version will also work on Android 4.2+ running devices though with some limitations (check here).

Sony launched a promotional “Chhota Bheem” AR Effect theme on Play Store today. Chhota Bheem is an Indian animated cartoon series which comes on Pogo TV. This AR Effect theme is suitable for kids only.
You need version v3.3.13 of AR Effect App or the higher one (get AR Effect app here) to install the Chhota Bheem AR Effect theme. App will only work with Sony Social Smart Camera app installed on Xperia devices running Android 4.3+.
