Xperia L 15.3.A.1.14 firmware update rolled a lot ago in mid January, the then no firmware has been certified for Xperia L C2104, C2015 neither any update rolled by Sony. It seems a few days back Sony posted the open source archive for Xperia L 15.3.A.1.16 firmware build which indicates that Sony might release this 15.3.A.1.16 firmware update soon in future, though nothing is confirmed yet as this build has not been spotted on PTCRB also yet.

Bugs like flickering screen display, battery drain, poor camera quality ( for some users ), touch responsiveness issues etc are being faced by Xperia L users on 15.3.A.1.14 firmware. 15.3.A.1.16 firmware open source archive is available for download from Sony Developer website now.

Interestingly Sony has mentioned 15.3.A.1.16 firmware name on post download page but on download link it says “15.3.A.1.12.tar.bz2” which is an older build of Xperia L. Check the screenshot from the Sony’s post.

If any developer can confirm is there any trace of Xperia L 15.3.A.1.16 firmware in uploaded open source archive by Sony then let us know.
