Sony India to hold press conference on 26 June – Xperia Z3+ Launching?

Sony Mobile is holding a press conference on 26 June in India. Earlier Sony India had a press conference on 26 May where we saw Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and Xperia C4 Dual getting launched and this time on 26 June we can expect Xperia Z3+ getting launched in India.

Annotation on the invite reads as “Block Your Date, Friday 26 June 2015“; event will be held in New Delhi. As Sony mentioned that Xperia Z3+ will see a global launch therefore seeing Xperia Z3+ getting launched in India on 26 June makes sense.

Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and Xperia C4 Dual are already selling in India. Xperia M4 Aqua Dual is priced at Rs 24990 (available at Flipkart India  & Amazon India) and Xperia C4 Dual is priced at Rs 29490.

Chances of seeing Xperia Z4 Tablet getting launched on 26 June in India is very less, though the time will tell.

Sony having Press Event in India on 26 May – Water resistance Xperia to be launched

Sony Mobile is about to have a press event on 26 May in India at New Delhi where they will be launching a new Xperia smartphone with water resistance certification as judged from their media invite sent to us. Annotation on the invite reads as “Block Your Date, Tuesday 26 May 2015”.

In 2015, Sony launched only two water resistance certified Xperia smartphones i.e. Xperia M4 Aqua globally at MWC and Xperia Z4 in Japan exclusively along with Xperia Z4 Tablet so we can see any one of them or all at the press event getting unveiled.

As you can clearly figure out from the press invite that Xperia device which is to be launched will definitely have water resistance certification so chances of either Xperia M4 Aqua or Xperia Z4 (or both) getting launched are there.

[ UPDATE 23/05/15 ] Sony will announce Xperia Z4 in China on 26 May

It is in rumors that Sony might not launch Xperia Z4 specifically to other markets except Japan, so we might see Xperia Z3+ getting launched (revamped version of Xperia Z3). Xperia Z3+ was recently spotted in the white paper of Sony Style Cover SCR30 for Xperia Z4.

Sony Mobile MWC Event on 24 February 2014 Barcelona at 08:30 CET

It’s time for Mobile World Congress Barcelona event starting from 24-27 February 2014. At CES we saw Sony launching two high end devices viz. Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z1S LTE, as Sony already mentioned that no flagship device will be launched at CES 2014 so will it be at MWC 2014. MWC14 Brochures are out now so the timings and details of Sony Mobile press conference at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.

As what MWC14 brochures say, Sony’s press conference under category “device” will take place on 24 February 2014 at 08.30 CET at stands Hall 2 Stand 2P60 and Hall 3 Stand 3M10, so if you are going to attend the MWC 2014 event, don’t forgot to visit Sony’s stand.

It is expected that Sony will announce Sony D6503 aka Sony “Sirius” and a new tablet, successor of Xperia Tablet Z in form of Sony SGP521 codenamed “Castor” at MWC 2014 event. We may or may not see new mid range devices in form of  Sony D23XX at MWC 2014.

Time has come, year’s first international tech show CES 2014 is here now. CES 2014 continues from 7th Jan – 10th Jan 2014 at Las Vegas, USA and on 6th Jan Sony Mobile will hold a press conference. It is being already confirmed from Sony that on 6th Jan there will be a press conference, curious thing is that are they going to announce new handset on the very same day.

Press Conference may start with keynote from Sony Mobile CEO Kazuo Hirai and what Sony has brought this time new for the users, a new handset, a new TV technology or anything else.

Sony’s CES 2014 Press conference on January 6, 2014 at Las Vegas

In less than a month we are going to see some new products from Sony, it has been confirmed now that Sony will have a press conference on January 6, 2014 at Las Vegas, before the opening day of CES 2014 event from Jan 7-10 2014. It’s a big news last time ( CES 2013 ) we saw Sony launching the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.

This time at CES 2014 it is rumored that Sony Mobiles may come up with Xperia Z1s ( the facelift version of Xperia Z1 ) and the Xperia Z1 Mini ( global version ) which is speculated as Sony D5503 model codenamed as Xperia Amamai, nothing is final yet though.

Sony Togari launching as Xperia ZU on 25 June press event at Germany ?

Something is definitely cooking up, Sony Mobile Communications is hosting a press event on 25 June at Munich, Germany. For what it is for ? That’s the mystery remain unsolved yet. Rumors are that Sony is about to launch its first phablet code named as Sony Togari which we have seen number of times in leak images online, as Xperia ZU very soon.

Press invitations for meet on 25 June has been started by Sony. The above banner read as “LUST AUF MEHR?” whose English translation is as “Desire for more?”. More translation are as follow “Es wird Zeit für den nächsten Schritt. Am Dienstag, den 25 Juni 2013 ab 15 Uhr werfen  wir gemeinsam einen ersten  blick in die Zukunft” as “It is time for the next step. On Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 15 clock we throw together a first look into the future”.

It is expected that Sony might be launching a new android device on this press meet. There are many speculations behind this, people are claiming that Sony might launch a new Xperia device range for 2013, a Google Nexus edition of Xperia Z or can be the launch of their first cyber shot phablet Togari.

Rumored Launch of Sony Togari or Xperia Honami

Very strong rumors are there that Sony might release it’s first phablet Sony Togari as Xperia ZU ahead of the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max both phablets. Rumored specifications of Sony Togari or Xperia ZU are full HD 1080p 6.44″ screen with Snapdragon 800 2.3Ghz Quad core processor with Adreno 330, Bluetooth 4.0,

It can also be a launch of Sony Xperia Honami which has already been listed by “Snapdragon Wikipidea Page“.

Nothing has been confirmed officially yet, only a leaked image from Sony invitation has been brought out. Let’s see what Sony will give to it’s users on 25 June, just sit back and wait 😛 What do you think regarding this, do let us know…
