Sony launches “Magic” AR Effect Theme officially

Sony Mobile has released another AR Effect camera app theme i.e. “Magic” recently at Play Store. Now transform into a magician with the help of tricks and props from the Magic AR Effect Theme.

To use this theme, tap on AR Effect app (AR effect version 4.4.2 or higher) on Xperia Camera and then tap on Magic AR Effect Theme icon. To interact with AR items: Tap on 3D objects to change and Drag 3D objects to reposition them.

Sony Circus AR Effect Theme launched

Sony Mobile has released a new AR Effect camera app theme i.e. Circus, today. Now you can put circus characters in your videos and pictures captured.

You need version v3.3.13 of AR Effect App or the higher one (get AR Effect app here) to install the Circus AR Effect theme. App will only work with Sony Social Smart Camera app installed on Xperia devices running Android 4.3+. Recently Sony updated its Xperia Camera app version 2.0.0, download it from here, if you haven’t updated yet.

Sony launches Chhota Bheem AR Effect Theme officially

Sony launched a promotional “Chhota Bheem” AR Effect theme on Play Store today. Chhota Bheem is an Indian animated cartoon series which comes on Pogo TV. This AR Effect theme is suitable for kids only.

You need version v3.3.13 of AR Effect App or the higher one (get AR Effect app here) to install the Chhota Bheem AR Effect theme. App will only work with Sony Social Smart Camera app installed on Xperia devices running Android 4.3+.

New Sony AR Effect Theme Unity-chan Wony-Buster

A new AR Effect Theme Unity-chan Wony-Buster has been released on Play Store from a third party developer. AR Effect app allows you to customize your captured pics and videos with installed themed characters. App and Theme needs android 4.3+ to work on your Xperia device.

As mentioned by the dev “Control the bombs that spouting out from player’s mouth, and make hit to “Wony” which coming up from the bottom of screen in a limited time. Special bomb will work in case player can’t catch up “Wony” or to buster “Mega-Wony”.

Sony has updated AR Effect Horror theme to newer version 1.1.3 from older 1.1.2 version, which brought only minor bug fixing and new theme loading animation while switching between themes which was also seen in the changelog of previous version.

Sony AR Effect “Horror” app requires Sony Social Smart Camera app with AR Effect app installed, version > 3.1.1 and Xperia handset running atleast Android 4.3+ version.

Sony has launched a new AR Effect theme “Jungle” at Play Store. It is to be used with Sony AR Effect app ( version > 3.1.1 ) in Sony Social Smart Camera App, compatible with Xperia handsets running Android 4.3+ version.

With the theme you get jungle ( forest ) like effect while taking photos or shooting videos with your phone’s camera. You get figures like tiger, giraffe, orangutan, snake, monkey etc.
