Sony’s stock weather widget has been ported to feature in a transparent mode. You need rooted Xperia device with recovery installed running stock Sony Lollipop or Marshmallow ROM to flash the port.

If stock weather widget is already active on your home screen, remove it first. Download the flashable zip file and flash it in recovery. Add the weather widget again on home screen.
