Xperia Z4 20.7 MP Camera Sample Pic Leaked

Earlier today we saw leaked Xperia Z4 hands on pics showing off full profile of device clearly and just now a 20.7 MP camera sample came in which is supposed to be taken by Xperia Z4. Xperia Z4 camera sample which has been leaked is taken in 20.7 MP camera mode, image size is 15.4 MB, resolution 5248×3936 (4:3 aspect ratio). It looks pic was taken somewhere in UK.

Leakster fills in info as the camera sample is taken from a pre-production model (and the device may take 2 more months for release) and firmware so camera quality is expected to be better at the later stage.

Xperia Z4 hands on pics leaked – Full profile revealed

Sony E6553 aka Xperia Z4 has been spotted in number of leaks so far, ranging from leaked benchmarks to internal renders. Newest Xperia Z4 hands on leaked pics show the full profile of the device and now we know what Sony has put for next Xperia flagship smartphone.

Xperia Z4 hands on pics confirm many things we knew already. Xperia Z4 leaked pics shows a tiny notification light at the left corner of the top bezel (like Xperia Z3), speakers positioned like Xperia Z2, a capless micro-USB port at the bottom side of the device.

Xperia Z4 supports only one flap on the left side which probably means we will see nano SIM card and micro SD card slot under the same flap.

Leaked Sony E6553/Xperia Z4 pictures confirm 20.7 MP rear cam & Snapdragon MSM8994 processor

New pictures of Xperia Z4 has been leaked online which confirms that it will have similar 20.7 MP rear cam like Xperia Z1, Z2 & Z3 (1/2.3-inch Sony G lens). Xperia Z4, earlier appeared as Sony E6553 in GFXBenchmark and the new leaked pictures also confirm the model number.

Leaked pics shows Sony E6553 running Snapdragon MSM8994 processor which is Snapdragon 810 processor. As per GFXBenchmark report, Sony E6553 was spotted running Snapdragon 810 64-Bit octa-core chipset (1.9 GHz) with Adreno 430 GPU and 3 GB RAM.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop 19.3.A.0.468 firmware has been certified for Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual. Same 19.3.A.0.468 firmware is also certified for Xperia C3 also. Sony introduced a new boot animation in their Lollipop firmware and here comes a modded Xperia Sparkle Lollipop Boot animation for rooted Xperia devices. It is compatible with Android 4.4 KitKat running Xperia devices, for Android 5.0+ compatibility is unknown.

Download the required zip file from below and flash the flashable zip file in recovery and reboot your device then. Do backup your original boot animation file. It is suitable for 1080p resolution devices.

Xperia C3 19.3.A.0.468 Lollipop firmware certified

A few days back Sony mentioned that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra will also be getting Android Lollipop update besides Xperia “Z” series. Earlier Sony has rolled Android Lollipop update on whole Xperia “Z2” and Xperia “Z3” series, which is now available globally for Xperia Z3 users and Xperia Z2 users will be getting it by next week.

Xperia C3 is right now on Android 4.4.2 version and a new 19.3.A.0.468 firmware has been certified on PTCRB, which seems that it is the new Android Lollipop firmware which Sony mentioned.

Sony confirms Xperia T2 Ultra & Xperia C3 Android Lollipop Update

Sony Mobile has officially confirmed today that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra (T2 Ultra Dual) will be receiving Android Lollipop update very soon. Exact rollout date has not been mentioned yet, but it will come sooner or later finally.

Earlier Sony released Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series handsets in the form of 23.1.A.0.690 firmware which was seen in Nordics and Baltic region only but as per the today’s post by Sony Mobile, the rollout is now happening globally for Xperia Z3 series and will begin next week for Xperia Z2 series.

Sony has renamed its Movies (version 8.0.A.0.8) app to “Videos” now and soon will be available via update center app if you haven’t updated to Lollipop yet otherwise from What’s New app. Earlier Sony changed the name of its Walkman app to Xperia Music, which is now available at Play store.

Sony Video app has the same material design icon which Movies app had, plus the material design status bar in the app. It seems soon Sony will put Video app also on Play store.

CommandCenter app from Motorola Droid Turbo is available for installing on Xperia handsets (modded for 1080p resolution). CommandCenter app widget displays alarm clock, live weather temperature, city details, battery charging status, date and calendar events.

Both light and dark version of widgets are working on non-rooted Android 4.4.4 running Xperia devices, compatibility with Android 4.3 running Xperia devices unknown for the time being. We tested it on our Xperia Z2 running Android KitKat and it works fine, better than Sony’s stock alarm clock widget.

Sony has now branded its Walkman app to Xperia Music and it has been officially put on Play Store. Earlier Sony put Album app on Play Store which clearly means that sooner or later we will see Sony Movies app on Play store also.

On Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update Sony rebranded Walkman app to Xperia Music and now it is available for download to all Xperia users running Android 4.0+ from Play Store itself, which means no more updates via Update Center app.

Sony Xperia Cosmos pic leaked again – Flaunts 5 MP front cam with LED Flash

Sony Xperia Cosmos pic has once again leaked, this time one can clearly see the “Sony” branding on the top bezel and at the top right corner there is 5 MP front cam with LED flash. Device is clearly running Android Lollipop version, as seen from the Xperia home launcher spotted in pic.

Xperia Cosmos leaks so far have already confirmed that it will feature MediaTek MT6752 processor (a 64-bit octa-core LTE SoC) and model number would be Sony E5306.
