Xperia X Concept 38.3.1.A.0.91 firmware update rolled – Brings New SONY Audio Effects Engine for MusicFX app

Sony Mobile has released another concept N4F26T15 build 38.3.1.A.0.91 firmware (over earlier 38.3.1.A.0.74 version) for Xperia X experimental track which brings brings new SONY Audio Effects Engine for MusicFX app.

The battery percentage moved to beside the battery symbol for better readability and VoLTE in Telenor Norway, Hutch (3), Danmard/Sweden and VoWiFi in Germany (Vodfone, O2 and Telekom) was added in some new operatore configuartions, as per Sony’s official changelog.

You can now activate battery percentage in the status bar (activate in SystemUI Tuner).

Now MusicFX (Equalizer/BassBoost) app uses SONY’s Audio Effects Engine.

Xperia X Concept 38.3.1.A.0.91 firmware update also brings solution for Bluetooth restart problem and graphical bug with camera app shortcuts is fixed.

Sony Concept Installer app will guide you how to get this 38.3.1.A.0.91 update on your Xperia X.

Sony will soon release a stable firmware update for Xperia X.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow MDB08M.Z1.2134 concept build update rolling for Xperia Z3 & Xperia Z3 Compact

Latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow MDB08M.Z1.2134 concept build firmware update is now rolling for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact users (only for those users who signed up for this testing).

Many Xperia Z3 users are reporting that first they got update notification for MRA58K.Z1.2123 build and then after reboot Android 6.0 MDB08M.Z1.2134 build update notification popped up.

Sony’s Concept for Android: Marshmallow update rolling

A few days back Sony released the list of Xperia devices which will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and confirmed that its concept for Android will also get Marshmallow update and now it is rolling officially.

Some of the chosen Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact users are now reporting Sony’s Concept for Android: Marshmallow update exclusively.

Sony Mobile has confirmed officially Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the following devices for the time being: Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.

As recently spotted on Sony Mobile’s software page for following devices viz. Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia M5, Xperia Z3+, and Xperia Z4 Tablet, will directly get will Android 6.0 Marshmallow update (skipping Android 5.1.1 update).

Sony’s Concept for Android: Marshmallow edition available for Xperia Z3 & Xperia Z3 Compact

Sony came up with its “Concept for Android” program back in July and now Concept for Android: Marshmallow edition is available for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact users in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.

This program is open to only first 10000 users in above mentioned regions who can show their interest by registering via Sony´s Concept for Android app.

All the users who will show their interest in this process, will be selected on the basis of first come first server, so act quickly.
