Sony launches “Magic” AR Effect Theme officially

Sony Mobile has released another AR Effect camera app theme i.e. “Magic” recently at Play Store. Now transform into a magician with the help of tricks and props from the Magic AR Effect Theme.

To use this theme, tap on AR Effect app (AR effect version 4.4.2 or higher) on Xperia Camera and then tap on Magic AR Effect Theme icon. To interact with AR items: Tap on 3D objects to change and Drag 3D objects to reposition them.

Download Xperia XZs Panorama App for Xperia devices

A moment ago we shared Xperia XZs Camera App from Android 7.1.1 Nougat 41.2.A.0.191 firmware and now Xperia XZs Panorama App is also available for download.

Xperia XZs Xperia Loops Themes, Xperia Loops Live Wallpapers and Xperia Clock Widget have already been shared yesterday. As you all know Xperia XZs features 19 MP back camera which allows shooting 960 fps super slow motion videos.

To install Xperia XZs Panorama App you need rooted Xperia device with Android Nougat running and custom recovery installed (Deodexed Firmware also). Tested on Xperia Z5 running Android 7.0 Nougat.

Flashing Instructions:

Flash the zip file mentioned below with TWRP.

Note: Kindly backup your old Xperia Panorama App file as flashing will remove the old file.

Install Xperia XZs Camera App – Record Slow Motion Videos with one click

Yesterday we shared Xperia XZs System Dump from 41.2.A.0.191 firmware and now various Xperia XZs apps have already been ported. We have already shared Xperia XZs Xperia Loops Themes, Xperia Loops Live Wallpapers and Xperia Clock Widget.

Xperia XZs has 19MP Motion Eye Camera 1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile memory stacked sensor and allows shooting 960 fps super slow motion videos.

Xperia XZs Camera App

Xperia XZs Camera App (SemcCameraUI) is now available for download for Xperia devices running Android Nougat only. You need rooted Xperia device with custom recovery installed (it doesn’t work on Odexed firmware, as mentioned by some testers). Below posted Xperia XZs camera app is tested running on Xperia Z5 running Android 7.0.

For the time being you can’t record videos at 960 fps super slow motion (requires Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZs). Slow motion recording only available at 120 fps.

What’s New in Xperia XZs Camera App

Record Slow Motion Videos with one click (requires Timeshift Video and Video Editor). Timeshift Video will be hidden from Camera add on menu.

Flashing Instructions:

Flash the zip file mentioned below with TWRP.

Note: Kindly backup your old Xperia Camera App, beacuse flashing this one will remove your old Xperia Camera App.

Motiongraph for Xperia camera app 1.0.13 update brings Material Design icon and bug fixes

Motiongraph for Xperia camera app has been updated to newer 1.0.13 version which brings material design icon to the app and some minor bug fixing. It is the first ever update to Motiongraph for Xperia app from its release so far.

Motiongraph for Xperia camera app requires Android 4.1+ to install the app. This app is used to create effects where a particular portion of image moves like a video for a duration of 2 seconds only (it saves image as a .gif file).

Portrait retouch is one of the camera app present in Xperia T2 Ultra which is absent from whole Xperia Z family camera app still. Portrait retouch app allows you to style your pic in many different ways.

Portrait retouch 1.0.B.0.7 camera app has been ported by XDA dev xperiaz2 ( Ash ) and Levered for all Xperia devices running android 4.1+, rooted and custom recovery installed. Portrait retouch 1.0.B.0.7 with smooth experience has been successfully tested on Xperia Z1, ZR, Z, ZL, Z1 Compact, Z Ultra, P, V , L, M, TX and should work on all devices running Sony Social Smart Camera app.

Instructions : Download the Portrait retouch 1.0.B.0.7 camera app zip file from below link, it contains two files SelfPortrait.apk and SomcChinaPhotoEditor.apk, either flash the zip file via recovery or push both apps in system/app folder and set permissions > rw- r– r– > reboot.
