Sony’s latest Xperia X smartphone will soon be available in the market this summer and now various Xperia X apps have been leaked. Recently we shared Xperia X wallpapers and themes from now Xperia X Home launcher is also available. Xperia X was launched at MWC 2016. It weighs 153 grams, 69.4 x 142.7 x 7.9mm in dimension. It features 5″ 1080p display (TRILUMINOS Display for Mobile, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement) with X-Reality for mobile. It will be available in white, graphite black, lime gold and rose gold color.

Sony Xperia X comes with 23 MP rear camera (1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF, 24mm Wide Angle G Lens F2.0) and 13MP front camera (1/3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, 22mm Wide Angle Lens F2.0). It comes with 2620 mAh battery and LTE connectivity.

Sony Xperia X features Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor (64-bit) powered by 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage along with micro-SD card capability upto 200 GB.

Sony introduced new Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology in its Xperia “X” series smartphone lineup which will increase the battery lifespan upto 800 cycles before it starts loosing its capacity.

It has both dual and single SIM variant (both nano SIM). Dual SIM variant features 64 GB flash memory. Sony India has officially launched Xperia X in the India market for Rs. 48990 ($729).

A ported version of Xperia X Home 10.0.A.0.10 Beta Launcher is now available for download which works on non-rooted Xperia devices also (install like a normal apk).

How to install the app?

  1. Download the app from the above link
  2. Go the security settings of your phone > Tap on the options “unknown sources” > Tap OK.

Install latest Xperia Home 7.0.A.1.12 version

New Xperia Home version 7.0.A.1.12 is now available for installation on rooted Xperia handsets running Android 4.4+ with SuperUser Mod installed (present Xperia Home version is 7.0.A.1.5 or 7.0.A.1.7 ). Xperia Home 7.0.A.1.12 is taken from the latest Sony Xperia firmware update.

Xperia Home app 7.0.A.1.12 is tested on Xperia Z and Xperia M2 successfully. New Xperia Home is a bit fast over the earlier version and brings a small change in UI.

Install Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.5, Themes, Home Widgets from 17.1.A.1.2 firmware

We saw a few days back 17.1.A.1.2 firmware ftf getting leaked for Xperia Z2 which was the latest available Android 4.4.2 KitKat build until yesterday when a new 17.1.A.2.36 firmware was certified for both Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet on PTCRB. Apps and Framework related to new Xperia Z2 17.1.A.1.2 firmware have already been shared so the cross development for new Xperia Z2 apps have started again.

XDA dev niaboc79 has ported the new Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.5 launcher and home widgets along with latest Xperia Z2 Themes. Working on android 4.3 running devices. You need root on your device, custom recovery installed and install SuperUser Mod. Except Xperia Z1 users, all look here to install SuperUser Mod on their devices.

Xperia Z1 users running stock android 4.3 14.2.A.1.136 ROM, flash the below mentioned SuperUser Mod first via recovery.
